    Development of environmental friendly inorganic antibacterial agents


    Compared with traditional inorganic antibacterial agents, nano MgO, MgO and their composite particles, such as MgO-CaO, MgO-CaCo3, MgO-ZnO, MgO-CeO2, are environmentally friendly.


    Development of MgO for rubber


    Adding MgO to halogenated rubber can absorb the haloid precipitated from the rubber molecular chain. In addition, MgO can promote vulcanization crosslinking, prevent scorch and improve thermal stability, which is helpful to optimize the mechanical and physical properties of rubber. By improving the physical properties of MgO particles, the properties of rubber can be further improved.


    Development of new uses of hydrotalcite and its sintered products


    Hydrotalcite has excellent properties such as diversity, ion exchange and memory effect. Hydrotalcite and its burned products are widely used in environmental protection, medicine, catalyst, pesticide, paper making, coating, etc.


    Applied to environmental protection products: it can effectively remove Cu2+ and Cd2+ ions in waste water by exchanging organic acid anions into the inter-layer of hydrotalcite; Mg-Co-Al type of hydrotalcite can effectively remove Cr6+ ions in waste water; Mg-Al type of hydrotalcite can also effectively treat B(OH)4- ions in water.
